About
JAPAN EXPO
JAPAN EXPO
enters its 23rd year as the largest indoor US-JAPAN Event that
was initially started in an effort to strengthen the ties of
friendship between the United States and Japan. I thank you for
your continued support as we could not have come this far without
you.
Last year, the world began the
new millennium with optimistic hopes and wishes, only to be
shattered tragically by the terrorist attacks on September 11.
Starting with the United States, the world had waged a "new
war," bringing about a consciousness of the differences in
each other's ethnic identity, territory, religion and class. We
anticipate a long struggle ahead.
We at JAPAN EXPO recognize these
differences amongst people, but believe that peace and harmony
lies within mutual understanding and respect. We will further
strive to develop friendly relations between the United States
and Japan, devoting our efforts into bringing about interaction
on a person-to-person level.
A wide-range of exhibits is in
store in this year's 23rd JAPAN EXPO. As well as presenting
Japanese traditional culture, handicrafts, and various regional
products, we will also introduce Japan's latest technology, game
software, comics and high-efficiency "Made in Japan"
products. We will also provide a section where attendees can
relish in the aesthetics of Japanese food. Also at the JAPAN
EXPO, there will be a specially installed stage where two of
Japan's representative theatre art forms, Noh and Kyogen will
be performed, providing, thur far, a program that is rich in
content.
Furthermore, this year, there
will be special sections called "Great Edo" and
"Little Kyoto," where handicraftsmen and traditional
merchants from Tokyo and Kyoto are scheduled to participate in.
With over 30,000 attendees each year the JAPAN EXPO provides a
prime location for companies to obtain client in the US market.
JAPAN EXPO is also an ideal event for many Japanese companies
looking to expand their business to a greater market.
We look forward to your
participation at this year's JAPAN EXPO 2002. If you have any
question or comments, feel free to contact us.
