Grilled
Tofu Caesar Salad
- 1/2 pkg. (2 slices) of House
Chef Tofu, Herb & Garlic
- 1 pre-packaged bag of Romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 to 3 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup grated Parmesan or
Romano cheese
- 1/2 tsp. each black pepper and salt
- Favorite croutons

PRE-HEAT a non-stick grill. Drain out
excess moisture from tofu, and slice into 1/4 inch strips. Carefully
place tofu onto the grill and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side or
until golden. Set aside. In a large bowl, whisk the olive oil*,
lemon juice, garlic, cheese, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
ADD the lettuce to the olive oil dressing and toss lightly. Arrange the
grilled tofu slice on top of salad and garnish with croutons and cheese,
if desired.
*Note:
Reserve about 2 Tbsp. of olive oil dressing to drizzle over grilled
tofu.
