Pita
- 1 pkg. (12oz) Hinoichi
Tofu Extra Firm or House Organic
Tofu Extra Firm, drained OR 1 pkg. (5oz) Hinoichi
Tofu Cutlets
- 1 T minced raw garlic
- 1/2 t salt or to taste
- 1 t onion powder
- 1/4 t black pepper
- 1/2 c hickory BBQ sauce
- 2 T water
- 2 large pita bread or 4 medium, cut in
half

Crumble tofu (dice Tofu Culets) with
garlic, salt, onion powder & pepper ++ Place mixture in large
non-stick skillet & cook over med. high heat for 5 mins., until tofu
is lightly browned ++ Stir in BBQ sauce & water, simmer uncovered
3-5 mins. until sauce thickens ++ Spoon mixture into pitas
Serving Suggestion: Top with lettuce,
tomato, onion & grated cheese
Serves: 4 Nice
Variation: Use 12oz. tofu & 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken
breast & double all other ingredients
