A Night view >From Nagoya
The most spectacular scenery in Nagoya has to be that seen by night. The dazzling neon of Sakae, Nagoya Castle lit up by night at the recently completed Port Triton three connecting bridges of the future Tokyo bound express way stretching over the harbor are a must.

Nagoya has a wealth of surprising entertainment venues and attractions. From the traditional sport of sumo wrestling to Japans own Formula 1 race track, from the dramatic Noh theater to fascinating ninja. Then take a break from all the excitement and soak in a hot spring overlooking the ocean, or be mesmerized by the twinkle of lights from one of many observatories around the city.

The massive structure of the Nagoya Dome is the home ground for the Chunichi Dragons baseball team. Whether it be a sport, concert or other event, the dome is a major entertainment venue in the area.

Now popular the world over, sumo dates back more than 1,400 years making it the longest running traditional Japanese sport. One 15 day tournament is held in Nagoya annually. Short bouts and no weight restrictions makes for very exciting watching.

Nagoya Noh Theater
Noh Drama has flourished in Nagoya since the Edo era. Located alongside the castle, performances of this cultural experience are scheduled regularly every month.

Minami Chita Hot Springs
Relax in one of the many hot springs spotted along the coast line of the Chita peninsular while looking out over the picturesque ocean of  Ise bay . The closest marine resort to Nagoya, the beaches here are a popular destination for locals during the summer season.
